See Pictures From Christmas On The Square 2017 In Talladega

For the second year in a row, the City of Talladega held their Christmas On The Square event. Earlier this Summer, the city council voted to cancel this event, which many including myself never agreed with. Thanks to multiple business partnerships, it costed the city less to hold this special event versus last year. This year, there were more vendors, more movies, more events for the entire family, more food trucks, and a concert stage where Taylor Hicks performed! The crowd was huge!

Great job to the event organizers, it was a great event I covered. The kids enjoyed visiting with Santa and skating on that ice rink. Hopefully Christmas On The Square will become an annual event and will not face another cancellation. EDIT: The Talladega City Council voted to budget $100,000 for next year’s Christmas on the Square, great move! Below is a short video of the kids on the ice rink and photos from the event!
