If you are in need this Thanksgiving and can’t afford a meal or have no one to go to, Anniston and Gadsden have options for you!

Anniston Thanksgiving Meal / Carver Community Center

On Thanksgiving, the city of Anniston along with the Pot of Manna Lodge No. 478 and local chapters Order of the Eastern Star will help to provide a Thanksgiving Dinner from 10 am to 2 pm on Thanksgiving Day. This event will be at the Carver Community Center in West Anniston and anyone is welcome. If you need transportation for this Thanksgiving dinner, call 256-236-3422.

Gadsden Thanksgiving Meal / CommUnity Thanksgiving Celebration

For its 19th year, the CommUnity Thanksgiving Celebration is returning to the Gadsden Convention Hall. Up to 700 volunteers will help to feed and deliver meals to thousands of people. Nearly 5,000 people were served meals during the 2016 event, and 2017 will see just as many people. The event goes from 10:30 am until 2 pm on Thanksgiving at the Gadsden Convention Center.
