On August 31st, the remnants from Hurricane Harvey, which was going through Mississippi, caused spiral bands to come across Alabama.  Some storms in these spiral bands caused tornadoes.  There were several tornadoes in West Alabama which caused damage.  The first tornado caused damage in Pickens, Lamar, and Fayette counties.  Parts of Reform, Palmetto, and Fayette got damage from this tornado.

The tornado was first caught on a webcam from local TV station ABC 33/40.

The same tornado was caught by Chief Dep. Jonathan Gann from the Pickens County Sheriff Dept.
