This is Crowdsourcing Mornings! This post takes place every weekday morning and highlights one crowdsourcing project I liked from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or other crowdsourcing websites.
Matt Harding dances with people all over the world. He makes videos of it and he puts them on YouTube to show that the world is a whole lot safer and friendlier than it looks on TV. He is working on a new project and he hopes you’ll help. This time, your pledges on Kickstarter will determine where Matt goes to dance next, anywhere in the world!
Your names will also be shown on a screen in a special video where Matt will dance while every backer’s name is profiled. Other pledges includes postcards, dance-a-grams, dancing with Matt anywhere in the world, and even a trip with Matt to Bhutan or Namibia. He has made a few of these round-the-world dancing videos, so he has a pretty good idea of the work and costs involved.
As of December 12th, this project has raised around $121,000 of their $125,000 goal. This project only has 4 days left to raise the $125,000 or it will not be funded! For a pledge of $10, you will get to vote on where Matt goes, plus see the dancing Matt video thanking the backers. For a pledge of $25, you will get a postcard from the trip plus everything in the $10 pledge level.
