Get Your Thanksgiving Turkey Fried By The Calhoun County Sheriffs

Advertisements

Needing a quick and easy way to cook your Thanksgiving turkey?  If you live in East Alabama, you are in luck.  For 2015, once again the Calhoun County Sheriff will have a bunch of fryers frying up turkeys on the day before Thanksgiving.  The Calhoun County Deputy Sheriff’s Association Annual Turkey Fry will be frying up to 100 turkeys throughout the day.  The turkeys must way less than 17 pounds and be completely thawed.  A $15 donation to the Alabama Baptist Children’s home will be requested, and all funds raised will go towards making sure children in foster care can have a Merry Christmas!

The doors will open at 8 am on Wednesday at the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office at 400 West 8th Street in Anniston.  Get their early, because when 100 turkeys are reached, no more turkeys will be fried.
