Veterans Day 2015 Restaurant Freebies For Veterans and Active Duty Military

Veterans Day is on Wednesday November 11th this year. This day is to celebrate all veterans and active duty military who are protecting us so we can have freedom! Veterans Day is largely intended to thank living veterans for dedicated and loyal service to their country. November 11 of each year is the day that we ensure veterans know that we deeply appreciate the sacrifices they have made in the lives to keep our country free.

This year, many businesses are thanking our active duty military and veterans with free meals and other free stuff! This post is going to highlight several restaurants in Alabama who are celebrating Veterans Day with freebies.

Applebee’s: Free meal Nov. 11 for military veterans and active-duty service members. There will be 7 entrees to choose from, beverage and gratuity not included.

BJs Restaurant and Brewhouse: Free entree Nov. 11 up to $12.95 for veterans and active duty service members.

California Pizza Kitchen: Choose a pizza, full size salad, or pasta from the special Veterans Day Menu. Dine-in only. Please come in uniform or bring your military I.D. or other proof of service.

Carraba’s: Free appetizer Nov. 9 – Nov. 15 for active duty service members and veterans.

Cheeseburger in Paradise: Free All-American Burger with fries with purchase of beverage and military ID or proof of service. Available to active military or veterans. Beverages and gratuity not included, dine-in only, and participating locations only.

Chilis: Free meal Nov. 11 – includes any lunch combo or your choice from a select dinner menu. This is open to veterans and active duty service members.

Denny’s: Free Build-Your-Own-Grand_slam Nov. 11, from 5:00 a.m. to noon. This deal is offered to active, inactive and retired military personnel.

Golden Corral: Free meal Nov. 11 from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. The free dinner is available to any person who has ever served in the U.S. Military.

Hooters: Free meal from a select menu Nov. 11 with the purchase of a drink. This is open to veterans and current service members.

IHOP: Free Red, White & Blue pancakes or combo plate offered Nov. 11 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Krispy Kreme: Offering a free doughnut and coffee to all those served or currently are serving. Proof of military service required or those in uniform. Only at participating locations.

LaMar’s Donuts: FREE Donut & Free 12oz Coffee deal for all veterans and active military personnel all day on Veteran‘s Day 2015

Little Ceasars Pizza: Free pizza or HOT-N-READY Lunch Combo Nov. 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Offer available to veterans and active military members.

LongHorn Steakhouse: Complimentary Texas Tonion & Non-alcoholic beverage on Nov. 11 for all veterans and active-duty military personnel.

O’Charley’s:  Free entree from the $9.99’er menu for all active military and veterans.

Olive Garden:  Free Entree for veterans and active-duty military on Nov. 11. Guests dining with a veteran will also receive 10% off their bill.

Outback Steakhouse: Free Bloomin’ Onion and non-alcoholic beverage for active-duty military and veterans on Nov. 11. There is also a 15% discount four military members and veterans from Nov. 12 – Dec. 31.

Red Lobster: Free appetizer or dessert from a select menu available Nov. 9 – 12.

Red Robin:  Free Red’s Tavern Double and bottomless steak fries on Nov. 11 for all guests with proof of service.

Ruby Tuesday: Veterans, active duty, and reserve service members get a free appetizer on November 11.

Shoney’s: Free All-American Burger to veterans and active duty servicemembers. Dine-in only, Proof of Service required.

StarBucks: Free tall brewed coffee Nov. 11 for active duty, veterans and their spouses.

Texas Roadhouse: Free lunch from a select menu Nov. 11. This includes sides and a non-alcoholic beverage.

T.G.I. Friday’s: Free lunch for all current military members and veterans from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Valid ID or proof of service required. Dine-on only at participating locations.
