This is Crowdsourcing Mornings! This post takes place every weekday morning and highlights one crowdsourcing project I liked from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or other crowdsourcing websites.
NextDrive Plug is an IoT solution that allows USB devices to wirelessly connect to smart devices for easy file sharing, personal cloud storage, photo backup, music streaming and more. A micro IoT computer in the form of a small plug, it works with the corresponding NextDrive Connect App over a Wi-Fi connection to wirelessly link your smartphones, tablets or laptops with USB devices – such as hard drives and web cameras. You have plenty of USB devices and even though smartphones are convenient, the two haven’t been compatible. Now, thanks to NextDrive IoT technology, your favorite USB devices can wirelessly connect to your smartphone in seconds.
The NextDrive Plug may look like a simple plug, but it’s actually a micro IoT computer. Simply plug your USB device into the NextDrive Plug, download the NextDrive Connect App to your smartphone, tablet or laptop, and in moments easily connect it wirelessly to your USB device. No matter wherever you are, as long as you have an internet connection, you can access your NextDrive Plug! There are plenty things that the NextDrive Plug can do for you, such as:
- Expand the memory space for your phone.
- Back up your photo library to a hard drive.
- Stream video from any webcam, wirelessly.
As of August 17th, this project has raised around $40,000 of their $50,000 goal. This project only has 25 days left to raise the $50,000 or it will not be funded!
