The Evening Post: Disney’s Reviving The Lion King With The Lion Guard

Did you love The Lion King?  Well Disney knows that many loved that movie, and they are coming out with a new movie called The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar, which will be an animated TV movie sequel to The Lion King. The movie follows Kion, the youngest son of Simba and Nala, as he takes leadership of The Lion Guard, a team of animals tasked with protecting the Pride Lands. The film will air on Disney Channel in November.  Here is a preview!

The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar features the voices of The Lion King stars James Earl Jones as Mufasa and Ernie Sabella as Pumbaa. The voice cast also includes Rob Lowe as Simba, Gabrielle Union as Nala, and Max Charles as Kion.  The movie will be a lead in to a new TV series called The Lion Guard which will premiere in early 2016 on Disney Junior and Disney Channel.  So far, the series is being as The Lion King meets The Avengers. I see what you are doing Disney!
