If You Use LastPass, Change Your Password Right Now

Yep, even password managers like LastPass are not safe from hackers.  LastPass discovered last Friday suspicious activity and blocked that activity on their network. In their investigation, they have found no evidence that encrypted user vault data was taken, nor that LastPass user accounts were accessed. The investigation has shown, however, that LastPass account email addresses, password reminders, server per user salts, and authentication hashes were compromised.

LastPass CEO Joe Siegrist said that their encryption measures are sufficient to protect the vast majority of users.  Are you sure about that, and are you willing to take that risk?  I hope not!  And I hope you have already changed your passwords if you use LastPass!  This goes to show you that no matter what, hackers can find a way to get into your passwords and hack them.  It is recommended to change your passwords at least once a year!
