Tomorrow, Saturday March 14th, is the annual Pi Day. And come back to Geek Alabama tomorrow because I will have a pie recipe to share with you! But this Pi Day will be very different! As you should know by now, π is a mathematical constant, the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter, commonly approximated as 3.14159. The number is a part of decimal representation and it never ends and never settles into a permanent repeating pattern. Meaning, it goes on and on.
This year, some people are calling this Pi Day as Ultimate Pi Day! Because, you only see 3-14-15 (3.1415) every hundred years! If you want to really go out, celebrate Pi Day on 3-14-15 at 9:26:53 (3.141592653). So to get you ready for Ultimate Pi Day, here are a few videos talking about what else, Pi!
