As you all know, McDonald’s has faced some struggles with lower sales and revenues over the past year. So, McDonald’s is trying something new! And at my local McDonald’s, they are already doing this! From February 2nd to February 14th, all McDonald’s will take part in the Pay With Lovin’ campaign. Here is the commercial from them explaining how this will work! An ad like this will be shown during the Super Bowl!
During the campaign from 6 am to 6 pm local time and while ordering inside the restaurant, random people at random times will be selected to do something inspiring, like calling your mother or loved one, doing a silly dance, hugging another family member, fist bumps, high fives, blowing a kiss, telling why you love your significant other, and other general sentiment things. When my local McDonald’s did the Pay With Lovin’ with one lady, they did a patty cake clap dance!
So, if you are randomly selected to do a Pay With Lovin’ stunt, and do it, you get your meal/order free! Looking at the official rules by clicking here, every McDonald’s will go heavy on the Pay With Lovin’ campaign on February 2nd and 3rd. How about 35 opportunities on Monday and 20 on Tuesday! And you do not have to place an order to be selected. Every McDonald’s will do 100 Pay With Lovin’ sentiment things during the campaign. So, all you have to do is visit McDonald’s between February 2-14 and between 6 am – 6 pm, and you might get your order for free! And feel inspired at the same time!
