Veterans Day is next Tuesday! And every year, your local Golden Corral does the Golden Corral Military Appreciation Monday. This year, the event takes place on Monday November 17th, from 5-9 pm. If you are active duty military or a veteran, Golden Corral will reward you with a free “thank you” dinner. To date, Golden Corral restaurants have provided over 4 million free ‘thank you’ meals and Golden Corral, along with their guests, has contributed over $8.8 million to the Disabled American Veterans’ organization.
This year, Golden Corral is teaming with the new Discovery Family channel (formally known as Hub Network), and are doing something cool. Discovery Family and Golden Corral wants to thank and celebrate our United States service members and veterans, and they need your help! From November 5th to November 11th, share a picture of a special armed service member or veteran in your life on Twitter and include the hashtag #GCSALUTE.
Discovery Family will select some of these photos honoring these important men and women to be shown on-air. That’s right, your favorite service member could end up on TV. Discovery Family will air their favorite photos on Friday November 14th starting at 7 pm Central.
