Obviously, I was shocked to see Robin Williams committing suicide. Why would a very funny comedian decide to take his own life? Sadly, after the news came out, we are learning more details about Williams suicide. According to the family, Robin Williams was in the early stages of Parkinson’s disease, and Williams did not want to be a burden to his family. Sad, if the Parkinson’s story is true, Robin Williams wanted to not suffer the effects of the disease so he hung himself. I think this is a sad way to go.
Robin Williams was very busy before his death, he was shooting four different movies that we are going to see later this year and in 2015. And he was shooting his CBS show The Crazy Ones before it got cancelled. While working on the different sets, Williams was being treated for depression and entered rehab for drug and alcohol addiction a couple times already. Apparently, Williams was trying to seek more help from his depression, but he thought there was no help coming, and he hung himself. Let me just say this, if you think there is no light at the end of the tunnel and are thinking about committing suicide, know that there are people willing to help you! As for Robin Williams, he had a number of great roles on TV and in the movies! And he used his laughter to entertain our American troops, sick children, and anyone else who was feeling a little down. The death of Robin Williams is shocking, we will probably never see another great comedian/actor like Robin Williams. One of the roles that launched Robin Williams into Hollywood fame was in 1978 when Williams was on Happy Days and introduced the character “Mork.” Tonight at 8 pm and 8:30 pm Central, our friends at the Hub Network are going to play the episode “My Favorite Orkan.” Fans everywhere will get to enjoy the episode with the alternative ending that paved the way for Mork & Mindy with an on air tribute during the hour in honor of this Oscar award-winning actor and beloved comedian.
