The Top Acts To Check Out At The 2014 Hangout Music Festival

This weekend is the 2014 Hangout Music Festival down in Gulf Shores.  The 5th annual edition of this giant music festival happening on the beach is going to be one huge party! The 5th annual Hangout Music Festival features over 70 bands including The Black Keys, The Killers, Outkast, Jack Johnson, Queens of the Stone Age, Pretty Lights, The Avett Brothers, Modest Mouse, and The Flaming Lips performing just steps from the Gulf of Mexico.  So on this Geek Alabama post, I am going to talk about some of the best acts you should see if you got a ticket, because the festival is sold out!

On Thursday is the Hangout Discover Great Thursday Kickoff Party, which will feature Girl Talk, Iron & Wine, Wolfmother, Danny Brown, Dumpstaphunk, Bonobo DJ Set, CLASSIXX, Magic Man, Jamestown Revival, and Go Down Moses.  Doors for the Thursday Kickoff Party open at 4 pm on May 15th and tickets are $50 each.  To get tickets go to: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/hangout-music-festival-kickoff-party-may-15th-2014-tickets-10542203013

So for the rest of the Hangout Music Festival on May 16-18, here are some of the top acts you should not miss!  And these acts are going to be unique, because people will watch their favorite music acts while their feet are touching the sand and their bodies are feeling the Alabama sunshine on the Alabama’s Gulf Coast beaches!
