Orchard Road is a 2.2 kilometre-long boulevard that is the retail and entertainment hub of Singapore. It is a major tourist attraction, in addition to being the most popular shopping enclave in the city-state. Orchard Road underwent a $40 million revamp in 2009, with the addition of new street lamps, planter boxes, urban green rooms, street tiling and flower totem poles. In most cities, you see small Christmas decorations and lights usually hanging on a power pole or on trees/bushes like this one.
But on Orchard Road in Singapore, they go all out! Each year during the Christmas season, this entire area is decked out with numerous Christmas lights! They fill every space and even go across the road. The best part is you can drive and see these decorations! Enjoy some videos from this impressive display!
