Reminder: Duck Dynasty Christmas Special 2013 Airs Tonight

It’s been a month or two since the season three finale of Duck Dynasty. Last year, Duck Dynasty did their first Christmas special called “I’m Dreaming of a Redneck Christmas”, where Willie and Si crashed a kid’s church party and handed out those weird child Christmas gifts. This year, Duck Dynasty is back with another Christmas special called “O Little Town of West Monroe.”

The Robertson’s perform a live nativity for their Church for Christmas, so the wives organize rehearsals to ensure that they pull off a great event. However, rehearsals get off to a bumpy start as the guys can’t stop sharing their opinions. In between rehearsals, Willie and Jase struggle to get their wives the perfect Christmas gifts and they unenthusiastically take Jep’s advice.

During the episode, the guys will require some divine intervention. Some moments will include Jep being afraid he won’t remember his one line, Si who can’t let go of his tea cup, and Jase who gives Willie a Hard Time about his role as Joseph. Meanwhile, Phil enlists Kay and Jessica to go hunting for the perfect Christmas ham but it doesn’t take long for him to regret it. Willie and Jase struggle to find a gift their wives won’t want to return so they unenthusiastically take the advice of Jep, who always gives Jessica thoughtful presents that she loves.

The entire series of Duck Dynasty is doing very well for A&E, the season three premiere in August 2013 was seen by 11.8 million viewers, making it the #1 nonfiction series telecast in cable history and the series best season ever. America loves The Robertson’s! And every time I talk about Duck Dynasty or The Robertson’s, it drives a lot of traffic to Geek Alabama! The family have become a cultural phenomenon in less than two years.
