If you live in the Gadsden Metro and love Christmas movies, I have a great treat for you!  Gadsden State Community College and the Gadsden Public Library wants to know which three Christmas movies they should show at the Wallace Hall Fine Arts Center on Monday December 23rd.  Three holiday movies will be shown that day at 2:30 pm, 5 pm and 7:30 pm at Wallace Hall on the Gadsden State Campus.  Admission is free, but donations of non-perishable food items and new toys will be accepted for donation to a local charity.  Soft drinks and popcorn will be on sale for $1.

The college has put together a roster of 13 great Christmas movies, and is taking votes for the top three.  The movies being considered are:

  • White Christmas (1954)
  • Miracle on 34th Street (1994)
  • How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)
  • The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992)
  • The Polar Express (2004)
  • The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)

  • Meet Me in St. Louis (1944)
