Vote For Joey Beachum To Get Back On Jeopardy!

The game show Jeopardy is doing a special tournament for its 30th anniversary called Battle of the Decades Fan Favorites. They are bringing back 15 very popular contestants from the 1980’s, 1990’s and the 2000’s decades! Some of the contestants includes Ken Jennings, Brad Rutter, and many more popular contestants from the past three decades. 14 contestants from each decade have already been selected. The final contestant from the 1980’s and 1990’s has already been selected from fan voting. Now, you have a chance to vote for a selection of five contestants from the 2000’s decade to fill the final spot. And yes, there is someone from Birmingham Alabama in the running!

Joey Beachum won $100,000 and was the winner during the College Championship in 2008. He also won $5,000 during the Tournament of Champions in 2010. Here is what Joey has been up to since his time on Jeopardy.

Since my untimely departure from the 2010 Tournament of Champions, I can’t help but feel as though my not winning the tournament somehow messed up the course of human history, or put a kink in the space-time continuum – or at the very least, made my bank account sad. Now I have an opportunity – with your help – to put right these great wrongs and save the universe! (Or, again, my bank account.) I may just be a College Champion, a guy who took the Jeopardy! online test in the middle of a lecture about…I don’t know, something to do with my degree, or whatever it was. But this is bigger than that. Now, I have a chance for redemption. For justice. For the opportunity to allow my friends and family to watch another Jeopardy! victory on TV – instead of me running around furiously burning every copy of my previous loss known to exist (not that I actually did that, of course…). With your help, we can make this right. Help me save mankind. And my aforementioned bank account. (I’m not above bribery; here’s $5.)
