Today was the third anniversary of the Hub Network. It was also the third anniversary of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. When the show first premiered, no one ever thought the show would become the pop culture phenomenon it has become today. The show was created by Lauren Faust, who worked on other very popular cartoons like The Powerpuff Girls and Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends.
Not only parents and kids enjoyed the show, many teenagers and adults enjoyed the show as well. The teenager/adult fanbase is often called Bronies. Alongside watching the show, many people have created some pretty awesome artwork based from the show. The pony artwork is made from some really talented people! And today, WTVY-TV from Dothan featured some pony related artwork on their morning show.
