The Evening Post: Luke Bresette Money Fund

Geek Alabama Evening Post

Last week, a flight status board weighing at least 300 pounds fell on top of a Kansas family while they were inside the new terminal of the Birmingham Shuttlesworth International Airport.  10 year-old Luke Bresette died from his injuries at Children’s Hospital.  His mother is in serious condition at UAB hospital.  And the other family members suffered injuries as well.  On a family’s member’s Facebook page, a statement read:

“Words cannot describe the pain we feel. Thank you all for the love and support. Keep praying and praying and praying. For anyone attending STM mass this morning, please wear your favorite sports team shirt. Luke loved sports! I miss and love Luke so very much. I love you Luke!!!”

This family will need a lot of help!  And the FBI – Birmingham Citizens Academy Alumni Association is opening a donation fund for the Bresette family at all area branches of Cadence Bank.  Sure, there is going to be a lot of finger-pointing and lawsuits, but let’s make sure everyone can help this family!  If you don’t live near a Cadence Bank branch you can mail your checks to:
