Animation Monday: Dan Vs.

Okay I will admit it; I love the shows on The Hub! They brought back animated classics such as Animaniacs, Superman: The Animated Series, Batman: The Animated Series, classic Transformers and G.I. Joe, and others. They carry some classic sitcoms like Alf and Happy Days. And they have some great original shows like Family Game Night, Transformers: Prime, Littlest Pet Shop, and My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. One of the shows I DVR each Saturday is Dan Vs. This animated show created by Dan Mandel and Chris Pearson is about Dan, who is a borderline sociopath with anger management issues who thinks the world is against him and recurringly goes on revenge missions to “destroy” whom or whatever has wronged him. Dan is friends with Chris, who often accompanies Dan in his revenge missions. Elise, who is Chris wife also lives a double life as a secret operative for the government. Yes, this sounds like a perfect show!

This show does have its weird moments like things blowing up, murder attempts, and some violence. That’s why this show has a TV-PG rating. This show reminds me of some other shows like Archer and South Park but without the graphic violence and nudity. And yes, the characters are caring at times as well. Dan owns an adopted cat named Mr. Mumbles who he adopted from the animal shelter. And at times you will see Elise and Chris team up in Dan’s crazy antics!

The best part of this show is when you see Dan screaming to the sky in what he is going to take revenge on! Each episode has something different! Some of the revenges includes Dan Vs. The Superhero

You get the idea, Dan is going to get even with something he is angry about in each episode. He does not care about who he harms or what he destroys. He will get even! Season three of Dan Vs. just wrapped up and I am hoping The Hub will soon announce a season four of this great animated series!

I have seen a lot of art online from fans wanting Dan to take his revenge against Bronies! The adult fans of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. Here’s hoping The Hub will actually do a Dan Vs. episode with Dan taking his revenge against Bronies! The Hub even did a commercial showing Dan’s car being bedazzled by Pinkie Pie.
