Near my apartment one night ago I came up to an accident on Coleman Rd. at Electronics Dr. here in Anniston. The white SUV ran the stop sign and went across Coleman Rd. and into the ditch. Anniston EMS along with the Anniston Police and Fire came out to direct traffic and to make sure things were not very serious. One of the people inside the SUV had to be taken to the hospital and while the EMS workers were working on him you could hear him scream loudly. Thankfully no one was seriously hurt in this accident. But it does serve as a reminder to put down that phone and drive without being distracted.
