Bubba Watson Wins The Masters

If you did not see the incredible finish to The Masters on Sunday. Were you under a rock? Bubba Watson came back to win The Masters on the second playoff hole. This shot sealed the deal!

Bubba Watson has a Alabama connection. He attended Faulkner State Community College in south Alabama. And his hometown of Bagdad, Florida is in the Mobile/Pensacola TV market and near the Alabama line. He also played golf at the University of Georgia. Mr. Watson’s dad died from throat cancer in October 2010. And in late March of 2012. He and his wife adopted a one month old baby named Caleb. Who knew that a few weeks later he would win The Masters.

Not bad for a guy who has never had a coach and his swing checked. Plus you have to wonder if people are going to buy drivers painted pink now. Hey pink is not a color men have to be ashamed of! Watson thanked his fans, family, Georgia, and Jesus Christ while accepting his green jacket. Overall this is a great win for him and golf. And this is one guy that really deserved this win!
