On Saturday, is the 2015 edition of Jennifer’s Ride: Passport for a Cure. The motorcycle ride benefits the Muscular Dystrophy Association. And it’s mission is to continue the fight against Muscular Dystrophy through research. Charles Daniel is the morning meteorologist at ABC 33/40. Charles and his wife created Jennifer’s Ride as a way to honor his sister, Jennifer, who suffers from the disease.

The proceeds of the ride will go to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Birmingham. This will go toward research and will also benefit the camps that support the kids with MD. Their goal with Jennifer’s Ride is to develop this into one of the best fundraisers for MDA as well as one of the best motorcycle rallies in the area. Going forward they will continue to expand their reach and activities with Jennifer’s Ride. Here is video from me of the 2013 ride!

The route for 2015 will involve a tour of East Alabama!  You get to explore downtown Birmingham, Oneonta, Rainbow City and Gadsden, Lincoln, Leeds, and ending back up in Pelham!

Their goal is to raise $10,000 at this event, and they hope you can come out and enjoy a great Saturday afternoon where the money is going to something good!  Sponsors for 2015 includes BoJangle’s, Alabama Splash Adventure, America’s First Federal Credit Union, Moe’s Southwest Grill, and others on the flyer below!
