This week on Roadscapes Wednesday, let’s show some pictures of Anniston repainting the lines on the road. And the way they repaint the lines is somewhat interesting. Today, I caught city workers repainting the lines along Greenbrier Dear Road. When I got to the area, part of the road was already repainted. You can see the black paint on the right side. The workers were painting over the white line on the right side of the road.
Apparently, the workers were painting over the white and yellow lines with black tar.
And after letting the black tar dry, they were painting over that with either yellow or white paint.
The workers use this small lawnmower like machine to paint new road lines onto the road.
And after everything is done, this is what it looked like.
So, its road painting season time! It’s also pothole filling time!
