Music Thursdays: St. Paul And The Broken Bones Call Me Official Video

Geek Alabama Music Thursdays

One of the hottest bands now on the scene, St. Paul And The Broken Bones, has released their official music video for their song “Call Me.”  The band is led by Paul Janeway and they are single handedly bringing Southern soul music back to the masses!  The band does some high-energy live performances, and in the official music video below, you see Paul Janeway doing a lot of dancing!  In the music video, one side is Paul Janeway and the band in more of a retro living room.  On the other side, is a more modern living room with Janelle Issis from season nine of So You Think You Can Dance performing some dance moves!

The music video is directed by Jen West and produced by James Martin.  In the making of the music video, so many current and former people from Birmingham helped to make this video.  For example, 1504 Pictures helped out with the camera equipment and shooting, wardrobes were provided by Harrison Limited and Everybody’s Buying Vintage, set flowers were provided by Hothouse Design Studio, coffee was provided by FinerGrind Coffee Roasters, Good People Brewing Company provided the beer, and Crestwood Coffee Company provided the breakfast.  Even the UAB Film Department helped out in the making of this video!

The video has around 3,600 views on April 24th.  And I believe this video needs a lot more views!  To learn more about St. Paul And The Broken Bones, go to:  http://stpaulandthebrokenbones.com/.  Enjoy the music video!

And enjoy a behind the scenes video of the making of the set!
