McDonald’s is a company everyone should know about. The fast-food chain has changed up their menu to attract more customers. McDonald’s has added McCafe and special drinks. They have added new sandwiches and wraps that are good. And they have transformed their Happy Meals by reducing the size of the french fries and adding fruit. Now, McDonald’s is currently running a great contest for you Xbox players!
The One Hot Holiday contest allows people to peel a sticker on any Quarter Pounder Burger, Premium McWrap, or Medium Fries. You then enter the code found on the sticker online, then you get to claim your prize! Prizes includes a new Xbox One, Xbox Live and Xbox Music memberships, game downloads, movie downloads, and a download of a special FOX series. Most stickers will win you something.
Klout was great enough to mail me a $5 Arch Card and I went down to McDonald’s. This is my first night of real food since one of my teeth were pulled on Monday. And my stomach thanked me for the food! I got the Bacon and Cheese Quarter Pounder, a McChicken, fries and a drink. I wanted a large fry but they were out of large fry cartons, so I got a medium and small fry, which meant more french fries!
The Bacon and Cheese Quarter Pounder features a quarter pound of juicy, 100% beef with melty American cheese, thick-cut Applewood smoked bacon, crinkle-cut pickles, crisp red onion, ketchup and mustard, stacked on a toasted bakery-style bun. I really liked the bakery style bun, this is a step up from the regular buns you get at McDonald’s. Yes, the burger was juicy and good!
When I go to McDonald’s, I also get something on the side, and that side was a McChicken. This is a crispy chicken topped with mayonnaise, shredded iceberg lettuce and served perfectly on a toasty bun. McDonald’s now has new versions of the classic McChicken including the buffalo ranch, bacon buffalo ranch, and the bacon cheddar!
I got two game pieces and I won a game download of The Maw and one download of a FOX TV show from Xbox Video. Too bad I don’t have a Xbox One yet, but my brother has a Xbox system, so he might use them! The One Hot Holiday contest runs through December 23rd.
