Tonight at 8 pm Eastern / 5 pm Pacific, the Hub Network presents the 1st annual Hub Network Halloween Bash. The special was taped last weekend and is hosted by Kenan Thompson. Of course it’s not live, since there is a new Saturday Night Live tonight. Yes, Kenan changes into several different costumes throughout the special and he shows them off! 50+ people were selected all across America to show off their costumes, and let me say, these people put in a lot of hard work and were very creative! The winner of the Halloween Bash will win the Jackie, take that Oscar!

Many people in the audience were also dressed in their costumes, and Kenan will show off some of the audience members and their costumes in this special. The three judges were all dressed up in their Halloween costumes as well. Coco Jones is a angel, Hal Sparks looks like a gladiator, and Martha Stewart is a pink princess!

I got to watch the entire special before it airs on TV and let me tell you, this special is going to be great! Everyone has worked hard and spent a lot of money to make their costumes special. Along with the costumes, you will also see Cody Simpson and Fifth Harmony perform. And illusionist Nathan Burton did a great magic show! Celebrity presenters tonight will include Bill Nye the Science Guy, Nolan Gould, Zachary Gordon, Keean Johnson, Joey King, Peyton List, Bailee Madison, Ryan Newman, Todd Newton, Nick Purcha, and Rico Rodriguez. Plus, you will see special appearances by Nancy O’Dell, actress Tamera Mowry-Housley, actresses Candace Cameron, and Gina Rodriguez. Each costumed contestant will get plenty of screen time and each contestant will also get a chance to explain their costumes in a side screen. The Alabama representative is Kimberly Starr from Huntsville, cool costume!

In addition to the Halloween Bash, the website Modern Mom will host a Twitter party starting at 6:45 pm central. There will be several $50 gift cards and Hub Network prize packs given away! Enter to win prizes at: http://contests.modernmom.com/hubhalloweenbash/
