Animation Monday: Bounty Hunters on CMT

Geek Alabama Animation

This week on Animation Monday on a Tuesday.  I am going to talk about the first ever cartoon series for Country Music Television or CMT.  The adult comedy cartoon called Bounty Hunters is rated TV-14 and stars the voices of Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Larry the Cable Guy, as they track down fugitives for their own two-bit bounty hunting business.  Yes, the guys are just as funny in this cartoon as in real life!

In the first episode titled “Three Rednecks and a Baby”, we find that the three guys are part of a bounty hunter business called Barton Bounty Hunters.  In real life, I don’t think you would find these three comedy genesis’s working to catch criminals.  In their first job, the guys have to capture Beaumont Boudreaux who is a fugitive survivalist and is very tough.  While trying to capture the fugitive, you see a guy in his underwear inside the store and a couple in a hot tub, while inside the store.

From CMT.

The guys set up a sting operation in Skeeter Swamp involving traps, yes Jeff trapped the other two guys in traps so he could capture the fugitive himself.  And yes, the operation goes awry and Boudreaux escapes.  The guys have to care for a baby found in a stolen minivan.  Then a bird grabs the baby.  At the end, the guys get the baby to safety and they capture Boudreaux.  The show was pretty good in my opinion.

The show had plenty of laughs that anyone should get.  I mean, the show stars the voices of Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Larry the Cable Guy, so you know you will get plenty of jokes and laughs.  Some guest voices including Blake Shelton, Kellie Pickler and Kix Brooks will appear in the episodes as well.  I enjoyed Bounty Hunters and you will too!  The first season will have 13 episodes and new episodes air on Saturday nights at 10/9 central on CMT.  Learn more about Bounty Hunters at: http://www.cmt.com/show/bounty_hunters/series.jhtml
