This weekend I went to a special volunteer mission that is held every Saturday in West Anniston. Happy Tree Ministries is a church-based volunteer effort that feeds the low-income people of West Anniston every Saturday from 10:30 am to 12 noon on Cooper Avenue between 15th and 16th streets. On average, around 50-100 people come out to get a good meal and hear the gospel from The Bible. Happy Tree Ministries relies on donations from churches and people to feed the people each Saturday. The people got some BBQ, LaMar’s Donuts, chips and fruit, drinks, and a loaf of bread donated from Publix. Enjoy the photos from this special event!
