Everyone at the North Pole is busy preparing for Santa’s flight on Christmas. And the elves are making sure no country will turn him away from delivering presents to everyone. The elves are contacting every country on the planet to make sure they have permission to fly in. Santa does not want to encounter gunfire and violence in a certain country. Every country is nice enough to allow Santa and his reindeer in each Christmas season!

Christmas Song:

Joy to the World is a very popular Christmas carol that is performed by many people each Christmas season. The words are by English hymn writer Isaac Watts, based on Psalm 98 in the Bible. The song was first published in 1719 in Watts’ collection; The Psalms of David: Imitated in the language of the New Testament, and applied to the Christian state and worship. Watts wrote the words of Joy to the World as a hymn glorifying Christ’s triumphant return at the end of the age, rather than a song celebrating His first coming. Only the second half of Watts’ lyrics are still used today.

United Way of Western Connecticut is committed to providing support and resources where and when they become identified and needed.
