The Sandy Hook Elementary School Shootings were tough to watch! Now we need to reflect and honor the victims. On Saturday night the NBC show Saturday Night Live did the best honor of the victims I have seen so far! Kids from the New York City Children’s Chorus sang the Christmas song “Silent Night.” All the kids were dressed in red and one of the lines they sang was “Sleep in heavenly peace.” That’s what we all hope the people killed are doing right now. Here is the video of the very touching performance!
I also wanted to include this video. ABC 33/40 meteorologist James Spann talked to kids at his children’s ministry at Double Oak Community Church on Sunday. It’s good to tell the kids that these events are very rare and you should not be scared.
