Bark in the Park at McClellan

On Saturday I went out to the Bark in the Park event at the duck pond on the former Fort McClellan. People came out with their pets and had a good time. Bark in the Park is a collaborative effort of the community animal rescue groups, shelters, and animal welfare groups to raise money, promote awareness, develop community involvement and provide pet education. All of the money raised at this event went directly to helping pay for medical expenses, food, bedding and supplies for the animals in their care.
