On Saturday morning I saw some people across the street at the gas station holding some signs.  And when I drove up I thought they were doing a very good deed for the community.  Calvary Temple Assembly of God was giving away $10 of free gas for anyone!  They even had someone washing the windows!  Interim pastor Chuck Boles held this event for the first time at a local Delta Express gas station.

This was the first time the church held this.  And the people they helped were very gracious for the gas.  This lady prayed with the pastor and it was a touching experience!

And yes; I did get $10 of free gas.  Being unemployed for 14 months and searching for my 14th job in seven years does take a toll on your income.  I am glad the church held this!
