Mr. Refrigeration and Honey Bees

On Saturday I went to several local events that were held throughout the day.  First was an event at Mr. Refrigeration Heating & Cooling in Jacksonville, AL.  This business held their 30th anniversary block party which included hot dogs and drinks, a live remote from 97.9 WVOK and Steve Stevens, and several prize giveaways which included a full Trane system (over $2000 value)  For more information on Mr. Refrigeration Heating & Cooling go to:

.

I also went to the National Honey Bee Awareness Day at Attalla City Park.  Several vendors were there selling honey from local honey bees.  Plus there was some displays that shows how honey bees work in a honey comb.  I tasted some honey comb and it had an interesting taste.

The honey comb almost felt like chewing gum.  And it lasted for a good part of the day.  For more information on keeping honey bees in Alabama go to the Alabama Beekeepers Association at:

  1. Beekeeping is an all-around benefit to the keeper and most other people. There are the occasional person who governed by fear and ignorance who employs negativity towards the subject, as with everything. I have never had a neighbor to complain. Most people are actually fascinated over honeybees even if they are afraid. Keeping honeybees definitely takes you perception to another level of development. It teaches things about your own life and the society that you live in, plus it can pay good too. If you do not believe me, then may I suggest getting involved, learning about bees, and keeping a hive for yourself! oldsouthhoney, com
