The Evening Post: Social Media Overload

First the updated Olympic Medal Count. Sadly China has taken the overall medal count lead and they have the most gold medals over the United States. (as of 8/6 10pm central)

Today’s Olympic moment is the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team amazing win against Canada in the semifinals. Alex Morgan scored the goal in the 123rd minute to win the game and move to the gold medal match against Japan. This will be a rematch from the World Cup final between the two teams. Congrats!

Yes many of us can get addicted to checking our Facebook news feed or who replied to your last tweet. 2 out of 3 people are afraid of missing something if they don’t regularly check their social media accounts. And many people would do difficult things like getting a root canal or getting less sleep rather than giving up their social media accounts. (I’m one of them!)
