Today something crazy happened in Guntersvile. A bull shark was found at a boat ramp along Lake Guntersville. Everyone started the freak out on social media thinking a shark was swimming in the freshwater lake. But later after a quick investigation; police chief Jim Peterson along with the Alabama Marine Police, Alabama Department of Conservation, and animal control determined the shark was in an advanced state of decomposition and was caught in the Gulf of Mexico and taken up to NE Alabama. Later the shark was thrown into the trash. Just another crazy day in Alabama; y’all!
