The Anniston/Oxford area had a severe thunderstorm come through the area Sunday afternoon. The storm damage was found all around South Anniston. Several power poles and trees were down throughout the area. Several trees were also blocking roads in Anniston. The roof of a building was blown onto Noble St. And part of a wall feel at Express Oil Change in Oxford. Numerous leaves and twigs also littered the roads in the area. Pictures of dime size hail were put online. This storm was a very welcome break from the 100 degree heat we have been seeing in the last few days. Here are some pictures of the damage.
