The biggest event I covered on Saturday was Noble Street Festival and Sunny King Criterium. The festival featured bike races. But there was much more! There was also plenty of food, kid activities, and fun all throughout downtown Anniston. Enjoy the video and photos of a great day!
Another event on Saturday was the Earth Day celebration sponsored by the Coosa Valley chapter of the Sierra Club at Noccalula Falls Park in Gadsden. Today is Earth Day and I thought I would show off some photos of several earth friendly activities and vendors at this event. This was the place to be if you care about the environment.
The first event I covered on a very busy Saturday was the Anniston Orthopaedics Spring 5K run hosted by the Anniston Runners Club and the YMCA of Calhoun County. Thankfully the rain stayed away from this event. And everyone did have a good time. Hey; you have plenty of time when you have been unemployed for 10 months now.
