Business Review: Chick-Fil-A

One of my favorite fast-food joints is Chick-Fil-A.  All they do is chicken and nothing else.  Their chicken is cooked fresh, their waffle fries are great; and their hand-spun milkshakes are yummy!  So the people at Chick-Fil-A mailed me a coupon for a free chicken sandwich.  So I went down to take advantage.

The Chick-Fil-A in Oxford, AL is very convenient off AL-21 right in front of Wal-Mart.  I went there during the late lunch rush and the place was packed.  Chick-Fil-A knows how to take care of their customers.  There are plenty of people up front taking orders so you do not have to wait.  And they even call you by your first name; that’s great service.  I ordered a chicken sandwich, spicy chicken sandwich, waffle fries, and a root beer to go.  I did not have to wait very long to get my food.  And even the manager handing out the people’s orders says thank you by your first name.  That makes me smile!

I have fallen in love with the spicy chicken sandwich since it came out.  The sandwich carries the right amount of heat.  It was a very smart move for the restaurant.  Each sandwich comes with two buttered buns, two pickles, and a hearty piece of breaded chicken.  Both sandwich’s tasted very good.

Each sandwich is very simple but tastes very good.  And for the people who watch what they eat.  They have grilled chicken sandwiches, chicken salad, soups, and chicken wraps.  For more information go to http://www.chick-fil-a.com/.

I noticed on the bag that Chick-Fil-A is hosting the Chick-Fil-A Leadercast 2012 on Friday May 4th in Atlanta.  Some of the special guests include Soledad O’Brien, Tim Tebow, Urban Meyer, Roland Fryer, John Maxwell, Patrick Lencioni and many others!  Go to http://www.chick-fil-aleadercast.com/ for more information.  By the way there is no way I could afford the $239 ticket at all.  Well since being without a job for 10 months now.  Here is an sneak peak from the 2011 leadercast.
